SEN Tutor (ASDAN‑Trained) - B90 Area

Supporting young people to build confidence, independence, and real‑life skills.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASDAN‑trained SEN Tutor to join our specialist team in the B90 area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people with additional needs develop meaningful skills, achieve personal goals, and aspire to greater independence.

• Plan and deliver engaging ASDAN‑aligned learning sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Support learners in developing functional skills, communication, independence, and confidence.
• Use a patient, SEN‑aware approach to build trust and positive relationships.
• Track progress and contribute to personalised learning plans.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent support.
• Promote a safe, nurturing environment that celebrates every achievement, big or small.

• Experience working in an SEN school or specialist setting.
• Training or certification in ASDAN programmes.
• A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse learners.
• A commitment to helping young people aspire, grow, and reach their potential.
