Teaching Assistant - Year 4 (ASD Support)

• Weekly Pay: 480- 500
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Long Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming three-form entry primary school in Northfield, supporting a Year 4 class.

This role involves supporting whole-class learning while working closely with three pupils with Autism (ASD) and behavioural needs. You will help implement behaviour strategies, support emotional regulation, and promote positive engagement within the classroom.

• Support learning within a Year 4 classroom
• Provide targeted support for pupils with ASD and behavioural needs
• Implement behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
• Encourage positive engagement and emotional regulation
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and behavioural needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Calm, resilient and proactive approach
• Team Teach training desirable (or willingness to train)
