We are an independent school located in Birmingham, UK, catering to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Our school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students to thrive academically and personally. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher SME to join our team.

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons for students with SEMH/ASC needs.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning and progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well‑being and academic success.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to students and their parents/carers.
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Participate in school events and activities, including parent‑teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching Maths to students with SEMH/ASC needs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of SEMH/ASC and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in school events and activities outside of regular school hours.
