EDucation is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to work five days per week in a school based in the Sittingbourne area. This is a planning and marking role on a supply basis, ideal for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality History lessons and driving pupil progress.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons, assessing and marking pupils work, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. You will inspire students to develop their historical knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills while ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their best.
Key responsibilities include:- Planning and delivering high quality Geography lessons
- Marking and assessing student work in line with school policies
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting pupils academic progress and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership

The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential
- Proven experience teaching Geography within a UK school
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Experience with full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking - Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for History and education
- The flexibility and professionalism to thrive in a school environment
