Secondary Supply Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting confident and professional teachers across all subjects to work in secondary schools from the city centre down to Rubery, including Edgbaston, Moseley, Kings Heath, Selly Oak, Northfield, Longbridge, Bartley Green, and Rubery.

This role allows you to choose when and where you work, giving you full control of your diary while gaining valuable teaching experience in OFSTED-rated schools. Whether you prefer day‑to‑day supply for flexibility or long‑term assignments for consistency, Flourish Education works around your availability to support a great work‑life balance.

• Deliver lessons across a range of secondary subjects in line with school plans
• Follow the National Curriculum and adapt lessons to meet students’ learning needs
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management
• Support and monitor pupil progress
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Work confidently as a supply teacher in a variety of classroom settings

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum of 6 months UK secondary teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Level 1 Safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months (training provided if needed)
• Strong classroom management and professionalism
