Asa KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Prepare pupils effectively for end‑of‑key‑stage assessments (including SATs where applicable)
- Promote high standards in reading, writing, mathematics and foundation subjects
- Use assessment data to inform planning and drive pupil progress
- Differentiate effectively to support SEND pupils and stretch higher‑attaining learners
- Foster independence, critical thinking and collaborative learning
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Have experience preparing pupils for statutory assessments (not essential)
- Be committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all
- Show strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be reflective, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for upper primary education
- Be a motivated KS2 Teacher ready to take the next step in your career within a supportive and ambitious primary school
