• Full‑time, fixed‑term position
• Based in Middleton with excellent local transport links
• Up to £32,916 (dependent on experience) using the UP3 pay scale

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
• Prepare pupils effectively for end‑of‑key‑stage assessments (including SATs where applicable)
• Promote high standards in reading, writing, mathematics and foundation subjects
• Use assessment data to inform planning and drive pupil progress
• Differentiate effectively to support SEND pupils and stretch higher‑attaining learners
• Foster independence, critical thinking and collaborative learning
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Have experience preparing pupils for statutory assessments (not essential)
• Be committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all
• Show strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be reflective, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for upper primary education
• Be a motivated KS2 Teacher ready to take the next step in your career within a supportive and ambitious primary school
