Teacher Active is urgently recruiting for a passionate English Teacher to work within a well-established further education setting in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator who is committed to helping students develop strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills in a supportive learning environment.

The college is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can deliver engaging English lessons, inspire a love of language and literature, and support students in achieving their academic goals.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to FE students

Plan and prepare effective learning activities that support literacy development

Support students in improving reading, writing, and communication skills

Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback

Contribute positively to the department and wider college environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience teaching English within a further education or secondary setting

A relevant degree or qualification in English or a related subject

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential
