KS2 Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Hodge Hill / Shard End area for the summer term, starting after Easter.

• Delivering targeted KS2 interventions
• Providing general classroom support in Year 3
• Supporting pupils with their learning and engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team

• Previous experience working within KS2 (essential)
• Experience delivering interventions or small group support
• A positive, proactive approach to supporting learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Full-time (term time only)

• Experience in a KS2 setting and a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, with a clear ability to support students of varying abilities.

• Team Player:
  Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting both students and teaching staff.

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
