The School and Role

ABC Teachers is seeking dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistants to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.

We partner with a variety of SEN and Alternative Provision settings to fill long-term and day-to-day teaching assistant roles. These positions involve diverse responsibilities tailored to the unique needs of students. Our goal is to align your skills, experience, and passions with the most suitable schools.

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care.
Supporting students during educational activities.
Promoting students' overall well-being.
Collaborating with school staff to meet the specific needs of each student.

About You

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

Experience supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties, including providing personal care, ideally in a school setting.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to working with students with complex needs.
A commitment to fostering student well-being and encouraging their progress.
Adaptability to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
A proactive attitude toward their role and responsibilities.
