Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised academic support to GCSE students. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for education and a genuine interest in helping learners achieve their full potential. Ideally a final-year student studying towards a Teaching Degree (BA/BSc with QTS or equivalent). • Deliver customised tutoring sessions in specific subjects, tailored to individual student needs
• Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and understanding complex concepts
• Develop engaging lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning experiences
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation
• Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to support student development

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with children or young learners
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and patiently
• Experience with special education needs is desirable but not essential
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
• Organised with excellent time management skills to plan effective sessions
