Protocol Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Redbridge that is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable English Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality English education and supporting students to achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured English lessons, supporting students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills. The role will involve planning lessons, assessing progress, and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning, preparing, and delivering effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitoring and assessing student progress to support attainment and development
• Maintaining strong classroom management and fostering a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils as they prepare for GCSE examinations

The school is looking for a teacher who demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student progress.

Applicants should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
