Purpose

of the Role

You will contribute to the delivery of various full‑time programmes which are developed in partnership with renowned institutions such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary's University Twickenham London, and others.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality teaching and learning across various programmes within a Higher Education setting, focusing on foundational aspects of the subject.
  • Undergo training and shadow other lecturers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and continually improve courses.
  • Create module‑specific Scheme of Work and develop relevant module materials.
  • Deliver subject‑specific sessions in alignment with learning outcomes and syllabuses.
  • Deploy assessments appropriately as outlined by the assessment team and provide timely formative feedback to students.
  • Ensure compliance with Programme Specifications of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities.
  • Produce module/unit reports and contribute to the School’s Research Department. Demonstrate effective communication with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
    • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level.
    • Experience working with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams / Zoom.
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and students.
    • Experience working in the industry relevant to the subject.
    • Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
    • Understanding of cross‑cultural communication and relationships.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
