Job Title

Maths and Science Teacher to join CORE Education Trust

Company Overview

The Supply Register is a managed service working in partnership with CORE Education Trust.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join the trust's bank of staff, offering consistency, regular schools and better pay. Alongside long‑term opportunities across the Trust, you will step in for absent teachers, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students receive the support they need to continue their educational journey seamlessly. There will also be long‑term positions within Science and Maths across the secondary schools;

for these roles planning, marking and other core responsibilities will be expected, with pay calculated to coincide with AWR parity pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning experiences in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain continuity of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication during periods of teacher absence.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching in educational settings is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility, resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues and parents.
