Aspire People. Aspire People is seeking a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Balsall Heath. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people overcome behavioural barriers and re‑engage positively with their learning.

• Provide 1:1 and small‑group behaviour support
• Help pupils develop emotional regulation and positive coping strategies
• Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEN staff
• Support students who present challenging behaviour or disengagement
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Contribute to behaviour plans, interventions, and progress reviews
• Promote a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs
• Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils who may struggle in mainstream settings
• A team‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
