Are you an experienced Employability Tutor, Adult Skills Tutor, or Vocational Trainer passionate about helping people progress into employment? The Role
As an Employability Tutor, you will deliver engaging, learner-centred training sessions across employability and vocational programmes. You will support adult learners from enrolment through to achievement and progression, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to enter employment.
Delivery will include a mixture of classroom-based learning, group workshops, and 1:1 learner support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Employability and vocational training programmes such as Customer Service, Business Administration, and Adult Social Care
* Embed Maths, English, digital skills, and workplace behaviours into training delivery
* Support learners to achieve accredited qualifications and positive progression outcomes
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and motivational support to learners facing barriers to employment
* Set and review SMART targets to drive learner progression and achievement
* Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records using learner management systems
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, quality assurance, funding, and Ofsted standards
* Create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
* Support learners with job search skills, CV development, interview preparation, and workplace readiness

About You
You will be passionate about supporting adults to gain skills, qualifications, and sustainable employment opportunities.
Essential
* Level 3 or above teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, or equivalent)
* Experience delivering Employability, Functional Skills, Adult Skills, or Vocational Training
* A strong commitment to learner achievement and progression
* Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
* Strong organisational and caseload management skills
* Good IT and administrative skills, including learner management systems
Desirable
* IAG qualification or experience providing Information, Advice and Guidance
* Experience delivering training within warehouse, logistics, or vocational environments
* Knowledge of funded Adult Skills, employability programmes, or welfare-to-work provision
