Year 1&2 Teacher - Bordesley Green Temporary, Part Time

Position: Year 1&2 Teacher - Bordesley Green (Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Part Time)
Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Bordesley Green for a Year 1 & Year 2 Teacher to join their team from 1st June until the end of the academic year.

This is a part-time job share role across Key Stage 1 and would suit a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and building strong foundations in learning.

The Role

* Year 1:
Monday – Wednesday

* Year 2:
Thursday – Friday

Both roles operate as job shares with the class teachers, meaning planning and responsibilities will be shared collaboratively.

The successful candidate will:

* Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

* Work closely with the other class teachers to share planning and responsibilities

* Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

* Assess and monitor pupil progress

* Create a positive and supportive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

Supply Heroes are looking for someone who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Has experience or interest in Key Stage 1

* Works well collaboratively in a job share teaching arrangement

* Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisation

* Is enthusiastic and committed to supporting young learners
