Year 2 Teacher

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Kings Heath area after Easter.

This is a full-time, long-term position running until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into the next academic year for the right candidate.

• Full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class
• Planning, preparation and delivery of engaging KS1 lessons
• Assessment, tracking and marking in line with school policy
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and attainment
• Working collaboratively with SLT and support staff

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to commit until the end of the academic year
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
