Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car A specialist school in the New Forest is seeking committed Teaching Assistants to support students aged 1118 with Autism and a range of neurodivergent needs. You would need to support 1:1 with students and support their learning and wellbeing. About the School This specialist secondary school provides a calm, nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, supported and understood.

Set within beautiful grounds, the school offers small class sizes, personalised learning and opportunities for outdoor exploration. Staff work collaboratively to create a positive, structured environment where every child can thrive.

The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with Autism and additional needs such as ADHD, SEMH and other developmental challenges. Youll work closely with teachers to help students access learning, develop independence and build confidence. The role includes both one-to-one support and small-group work within the classroom. Were Looking For Candidates Who:
Have experience supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs Are confident working in a classroom environment Work effectively as part of a team Are patient, adaptable and responsive to individual pupil needs Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 desirable but not essential)
