South Birmingham | Start ASAP | Until July 2026 | Full-Time

A well-established secondary school in South Birmingham is seeking a Design Technology Teacher for an immediate start through to July 2026.

This is a full timetable position teaching all DT strands excluding Textiles.

You will deliver Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, covering:

• Resistant Materials
• Product Design
• Graphics
• Engineering / Core DT
• No Textiles required

You will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver structured, practical lessons
• Maintain high standards of behaviour
• Manage workshop spaces safely and effectively
• Assess and track pupil progress

• Strong leadership and clear behaviour systems
• Established DT department
• Good facilities and resources
• Supportive SLT and department structure

• QTS or equivalent
• Confident across multiple DT disciplines
• Strong classroom and workshop management
• Available full-time until July
• ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply

• Consistent work until the end of the academic year
