Job Description:

Aspire People is currently seeking a Polish-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a high-achieving EAL pupil with a Moderate Learning Disability (MLD) in an all through school located in the B90 area. This rewarding role involves working on a 1:1 basis with a child who has an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) and requires additional help with English as an Additional Language and assistance in managing daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored EAL (English as an Additional Language) support to aid the child's language development.

* Assist the pupil with understanding instructions and accessing the curriculum.

* Support the pupil's emotional and social development within the classroom setting.

* Help the pupil manage transitions, routines, and classroom expectations.

* Liaise with the SENCO and classroom teacher to ensure EHCP targets are being met.
Requirements:

* Fluent in Polish and English.

* Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly MLD.

* Understanding of EHCPs and how to support learning and development goals.

* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
