About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a dynamic, inclusive school environment, providing support to children with a variety of special educational needs. From one-to-one support to small group work, you will help ensure these children are engaged, supported, and given the best opportunities to succeed in their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with a range of SEN, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and learning difficulties.
  • Assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, ensuring that individual learning needs are met.
  • Encouraging children to build social and emotional skills, boosting their confidence and self-esteem.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning strategies and interventions.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
