The college is looking for a determined Personal Care Assistant with the potential of a permanent position. The successful Personal Care Assistant will be confident and adaptable in working with students with PMLD and ASD helping them to meet their milestones and giving them 1 to 1 support. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours.

• Child and Adult DBS (required) or willing to apply for one
• Experience working with PMLD and ASD
• A calm, patient, and caring personality
• A good understanding of child and adult protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
