Practice Model Officer

1 Month Contract with a Local Authority

This role is pivotal in leading the Connections Count practice model, ensuring its effective implementation, integration, and continuous development across the Trust. The post holder will design and deliver high-quality learning rooted in trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and relationship-based approaches. They will champion the model, strengthen reflective practice, and support staff in embedding its principles in everyday work with children, families, and colleagues.

• Lead the implementation and ongoing embedding of the Connections Count practice model across the Trust.
• Act as the principal advocate for trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and relationship-based practice.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, reflection, and improved practice standards.
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs aligned with the Connections Count principles.
• Deliver bespoke learning sessions for teams or individuals based on identified needs and service demands.

• Experience designing and delivering training within children’s services, social care, education, or a related field.
• Strong background in trauma-informed and relationship-based practice.
• Experience leading practice improvement or supporting workforce development.

• Relevant professional qualification in social care, education, psychology, youth work, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development.

• Working hours:
  
  35 hours per week
• Please note, we work on bi-weekly payments.
• DBS required
