The RoleA Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed and adaptable Religious Studies / PSHE Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a full-time supply basis. The role involves delivering engaging and inclusive RS and PSHE lessons, supporting pupils’ personal development alongside their academic progress.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, promoting respectful discussion, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain broader curriculum experience within a supportive school setting.
The Candidate- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Religious Studies and/or PSHE at secondary level
- Be confident leading discussion-based and values-led lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, reflective, and committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
