Early Years Teaching Assistant – Quinton, Birmingham
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in Quinton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children at the start of their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting pupils in the Early Years setting (EYFS)
- Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and learning plans
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
- Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) – essential
- Previous experience working in a school or nursery setting – essential
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with children
- Paediatric First Aid (PFA) training – training can be provided if required
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
- Access to free or subsidised training courses
- Opportunities for both short-term and long-term placements
