Health and Social Care Lecturer

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Health and Social Care lessons to a range of learners at BTEC Level 3
• Support and guide students in both academic and practical settings
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Develop course materials and assess student assignments in line with awarding body requirements
• Stay up-to-date with sector developments to inform teaching practice
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and quality assurance
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment

• A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Degree, NVQ Level 3+, Nursing or Social Work background)
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
• Experience teaching within Further Education or similar educational settings
• Must have a DBS - Updated Services
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and current industry practices
• Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
