SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: 105 - 115 per day
Contract: Long-term Term-time only

Are you someone who enjoys supporting children who need a little extra help to thrive in school? We're looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the B33 area of Birmingham.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils with additional needs, or someone keen to build their SEND experience in a supportive school environment. You'll work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils feel confident, included and ready to learn.

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with a range of SEND needs
• Helping adapt classroom activities to suit individual learning styles
• Encouraging communication, confidence and positive engagement
• Supporting emotional regulation and social development
• Helping to create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
  
  Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider support staff

• Have experience working with children or young people in a school or care setting
• Are confident supporting pupils with additional or special educational needs
• Bring a calm, supportive and reliable approach
• Enjoy working as part of a team and building positive relationships
• Want a role where you can make a genuine difference
