We are seeking a Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established primary school in Birmingham (B8), delivering high-quality teaching across upper KS2 in small group settings.

The Role
As a Year 6 Intervention Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering well-planned, engaging lessons across Year 6
Highlight topics that need intervention for individual students
Working on a small group or 1:1 basis
Maintaining strong classroom routines and positive behaviour
Supporting pupil progress during class teacher release time
Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
Upholding the school’s values of respect, ambition, and inclusion
Ensuring continuity and consistency in teaching and learning

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Be flexible, organised, and confident teaching across multiple year groups
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching that engages and inspires
