, where English is a strong, well-resourced department with excellent results at GCSE and A-Level.

• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3–KS5
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and creativity
• Supporting students in exam preparation, coursework, and wider literacy skills
• Contributing to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
• Playing an active role in enrichment activities (debating, creative writing clubs, theatre trips)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in English or a related subject
• Experience teaching English at GCSE essential; A-Level desirable
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for literature and language
• A reflective practitioner who is adaptable, supportive, and committed to student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
