Science Teacher - PRU (Erdington)

Full-Time | Immediate Start

Academics are currently recruiting for a strong and resilient Science Teacher to work full-time in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Erdington
, starting immediately
. This is a rewarding but challenging role, ideal for a teacher who is confident in managing behaviour and committed to supporting vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes.

• Teaching Combined Science to Year 10 and Year 11
• Full-time position,
  Monday to Friday
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with SEMH and behavioural needs
• Supporting pupils working towards GCSE qualifications
• Creating a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment

• Be a qualified Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred)
• Have experience teaching KS4 Science
  , particularly Combined Science
• Be confident working with challenging behaviour
• Have experience in a PRU, alternative provision, SEMH, or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
• Be resilient, patient, and adaptable
• Be able to start immediately
