A wonderful primary school located in the Erdington area is eager to add a hard‑working, proactive and naturally outgoing 1 : 1 Autism Teaching Assistant to their brilliant Learning Support Department in a full‑time contracted role for the coming academic year.
In this position, the successful candidate will be required to provide vital 1 : 1 support to a KS2 child with complex learning difficulties following a carefully structured Education Health Care Plan in a Monday to Friday position.
The school are eager to find a dedicated and knowledgeable individual with a passion for working with children, and a desire to make a genuine difference to the educational journey of children with special educational needs!

1 : 1 Autism Teaching Assistant – Role Information- Providing 1 : 1 EHCP tailored support to KS pupil with high-level Autism
- Creating tailored academic support and building strong rapport with child
- Being dependable and outgoing member of learning support department
- Monday to Friday role – September 2025 to July 2026 contracted role
- Paid £95 per day during term time – Includes 5 FREE online CPD courses
- Working hours : 08.30am to 15.30pm with 45 minute lunch break

- Minimum 2 : 2 UK based degree
- Prior experience working with children in any capacity
- Strong organisation and communication skillset
- Passionate about the all‑round development of children
