Aspire People is seeking a resilient, patient and committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision in the Balsall Heath area. This is a full‑time, long‑term position, starting as soon as possible, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Role
You will work closely with pupils who present with SEMH needs, providing tailored support to help them regulate emotions, build confidence and engage positively in their learning. The role involves behaviour support, relationship building and helping pupils overcome barriers to education.

Essential Requirements
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs

Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills

Ability to remain calm, consistent and compassionate

A proactive, resilient and supportive approach

Availability for full‑time, long‑term work starting immediately
