Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Teacher Active are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools in Handsworth
. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning and is ready to make a real impact within a classroom setting.

The successful candidate must have at least 6 months of experience working in a UK school and be confident supporting pupils across the Primary age range.

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Have 6 months of experience working in a primary school setting.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to support pupils of mixed abilities.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  .
• Be confident supporting small groups or working 1:1 where required.
• Hold a valid DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new Criminal Conviction check
  .
• Be able to provide two recent professional references
  .
• Be open to working through Teacher Active on a contract basis and flexible with roles in the local area.
