Salary: £14.60 per hour | £30,368 per annum
Contract: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

We are searching for a confident early years professional who can inspire their team and create a purposeful, engaging pre‑school environment.

• Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
• Experience in a children’s day nursery setting
• Previous Pre‑School Room Leader, EYFS Room Leader or Team Leader experience
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, school readiness and SEND support
• Confident in EYFS planning, Key Person responsibilities and safeguarding
• Ability to build strong, professional relationships with families and colleagues
• Passion for delivering high‑quality, child‑centred early years education

As our Pre‑School Room Leader, you will:

• Lead and inspire the pre‑school team to deliver outstanding EYFS practice
• Support school readiness and introduce foundations for learning
• Act as a Key Person, building positive partnerships with parents and carers
• Plan purposeful, play‑based activities that promote independence and learning
• Ensure your room meets all EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
• Coach and mentor practitioners to support their professional development
• Create a stimulating, inclusive environment where every child can thrive
