Salary: £14.60 per hour | £30,368 per annum
Contract: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner Level 3 or Nursery Room Leader ready to step into a leadership role that truly makes a difference. You’ll be leading our busy pre‑school room, supporting school readiness, EYFS learning and high‑quality, child‑led experiences.

What We’re Looking ForWe are searching for a confident early years professional who can inspire their team and create a purposeful, engaging pre‑school environment.
- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
- Experience in a children’s day nursery setting
- Previous Pre‑School Room Leader, EYFS Room Leader or Team Leader experience
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, school readiness and SEND support
- Confident in EYFS planning, Key Person responsibilities and safeguarding
- Ability to build strong, professional relationships with families and colleagues
- Passion for delivering high‑quality, child‑centred early years education
As our Pre‑School Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and inspire the pre‑school team to deliver outstanding EYFS practice
- Support school readiness and introduce foundations for learning
- Act as a Key Person, building positive partnerships with parents and carers
- Plan purposeful, play‑based activities that promote independence and learning
- Ensure your room meets all EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
- Coach and mentor practitioners to support their professional development
- Create a stimulating, inclusive environment where every child can thrive
