Are you an experienced classroom support assistant looking for a new opportunity in a local Primary School?
Flourish Education is recruiting for a teaching assistant to work in the Wolverhampton area in vibrant and supportive Primary Schools. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment in Reception and Year 1.
The school is seeking a candidate with experience providing small group intervention for core subjects, with good maths and SATs knowledge.
This role will start in September 2025 and continue until December, full-time (8:30-3:30), with the potential to extend into the new year.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Good curriculum knowledge of KS1 and Phonics
- Experience working in Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
- A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
- A minimum of 2 excellent references
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive
- Competitive Salary - between £88.92 - £100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £17,339.40 - £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
