Responsibilities- Deliver a timetable of teaching, learning and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
- Plan qualification delivery with team members to ensure compliance with all external requirements.
- Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement and progression.
- Complete all e-registers in a timely and standard‑conforming manner.
- Monitor attendance and performance of learners and report to management.
- Address learner requirements quickly and effectively.
- Deliver teaching, learning and assessment to ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement.
- Prepare individual learning plans, progress reviews and smart target settings appropriate to each learner.
- Complete assessment and documentation to meet awarding body, audit and organisational requirements.
- Submit portfolios for interim and summative verification and collaborate with the IV to ensure quality improvement.
- Maintain records of CPD and undertake appropriate learning and development activities.
- Contribute to learner disciplinary action requirements when appropriate.
- Attend standardisation and team meetings at designated centres to develop team and individual performance.
- Promote safe working practices and safeguarding of learners in line with current legislation and LCG policies.
- Act in line with company values, expected behaviours and confidentiality.
- Offer support, advice and guidance to learners, customers and colleagues as part of your everyday role.
- Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company.
- Hold a Level 3 teaching qualification.
- Hold an assessing qualification.
- Relevant occupational experience in the sector you are applying for.
- Level 3 and above sector qualifications.
- Access to and use of your own teaching resources.
- Willingness to work towards additional qualifications if not already held.

We provide a live scheduling tool (SHIFTS), standardisation meetings, and a diverse, inclusive culture. Associate tutors are self‑employed and responsible for their own tax and NI contributions; a UTR number is required, and Ltd companies are not accepted.
