EYFS Teaching Assistant Needed – Outstanding Nursery School

Are you a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in a nurturing early years setting? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

I have been working closely for over three years with a fantastic Nursery School in Edgbaston, supporting all of their staffing needs. They are now looking to welcome a dedicated Teaching Assistant to their team from February Half Term.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in the 2-year-old room, where you’ll provide general classroom support and take responsibility for your own group of key children. For the right person, this role offers the exciting possibility of becoming permanent.

The nursery is proudly rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted and is known for its warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. Staff describe it as a place where you instantly feel part of the team — supportive, down-to-earth, and child-focused.

The Successful EYFS Teaching Assistant Will Have:

✔ A minimum of 6 months’ experience in an EYFS setting
✔ A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or EYFS
✔ A kind, caring, and nurturing nature
✔ Strong initiative and a proactive attitude
✔ A genuine passion for making a difference in young children’s lives
✔ A hardworking and enthusiastic approach
