SEND Teaching Assistant - Erdington

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role?

A school within Erdington is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 4.5 days per week ASAP – ongoing.

This role requires somebody who is experienced with SEND, as you will be supporting 2 children.

The child that you will be supporting in the mornings is a Year 1 child with learning needs.

The child you will be supporting in the afternoons is a Year 4 child with learning and emotional needs.

The school is looking for somebody who has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, as you will be working across Key Stage 1 and 2 throughout the week.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one‑to‑one basis
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
