Electrical TutorMake UK are looking for skilled electrical professionals to join them to provide essential training to the next generation of engineers, passing over your knowledge and experience to secure the future of manufacturing. As a further education provider, Make UK can offer an engaging and motivational workplace where you will provide mentoring and guidance to Manufacturing & Engineering apprentices.
Applications are welcome to individuals from industry looking to move into the education field; training will be provided.

Responsibilities- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
- Develop course materials including handouts and reference materials
- Deliver practical training to apprentices and adults
- Create a motivational learning environment
- Assess learners progress, provide constructive feedback and progress reports
- Time served apprentice, relevant City and Guilds (part
3) qualification or full Technical Certificate or national Certificate or higher - Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (desired)
- A1 and V1 (desired)
- Industrial experience combined with knowledge of current industry and best practice standard (desirable)
- Good presentation and communication skills
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is therefore a mandatory requirement that the successful candidate agrees to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
