Grade 3 – £27,254 – £33,699 pro rata – Consultation grade – subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working hours per week: sessional.
Job DescriptionWe are looking to recruit highly motivated, suitably qualified, innovative, inspiring and engaging teachers who will work closely with the teaching team to shape and create a vibrant curriculum that meets local needs, while ensuring the experience of every learner is the best it can be.
Responsibilities- Deliver Health & Social Care curriculum, including counselling (L2 & L3), mentoring (L1 & L2) and supporting teaching and learning (L2 & L3)
- Teach Early Years Education (L2 & L3)
- Work under the guidance of Programme Managers and the Head of Faculty, collaborating closely to develop and refine a dynamic curriculum aligned with local requirements
- Support internal quality assurance work for the specified qualifications
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality, learner‑centred teaching, learning and assessment and contribute to programme development in specified areas
- Health Care qualifications:
Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care and Working in the Health Care Sector from Entry level up to Level 3 - Relevant teaching qualifications for Health & Social Care and Early Years Education
- Strong commitment to learner development, curriculum design and continuous professional improvement
- Experience in lesson planning, assessment and delivery in a diverse adult learning environment is an asset
