Department: Nursery Education

Location: Harborne, Birmingham

Salary: £25,397 per year

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all nursery areas, including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal spaces
• Carry out daily cleaning routines, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies and notify management when orders are needed
• Support laundry and linen changes as required
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and infection control standards
• Help keep our nursery environments warm, tidy and welcoming
• Work closely with the wider team to uphold our high cleanliness standards
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures for safeguarding and safety

• Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or facilities role
• A proactive and reliable approach with excellent attention to detail
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently
• Understanding of basic health & safety and COSHH guidelines (training provided if needed)
• A warm, friendly attitude and team spirit – you’ll be a key part of the nursery community
• A willingness to complete any necessary training
