They are on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Principal Designer to join their expanding team in their Birmingham offices.

Duties for the role of Principal Designer include:

Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved

Skills and experience for the role of Principal Designer:

Relevant degree within architecture
Strong experience working within a health and safety, design, or project management role.
Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
Strong attention to detail

Experience with The Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
