ONE Creative environments (ONE) is a multidisciplinary design practice with studios in Worcester, Birmingham, Cardiff and London. We work across healthcare, education, residential, commercial and public realm projects, delivering integrated and well considered design solutions.
We are looking for an Associate Landscape Architect to join our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design team, based in Birmingham or Worcester, with hybrid working available.
This is a senior role within the discipline, focused on leading the delivery of landscape architecture projects, managing project teams and acting as the primary day to day point of contact for clients. The role involves responsibility for design quality, coordination and delivery from concept through to construction, alongside mentoring colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the practice.
The role will suit an experienced, Chartered Landscape Architect with strong design and delivery experience, together with proven capability in landscape planning and assessment, including LVIA work.
You will work closely with Associate Directors and Directors across a range of projects, collaborating with architecture, engineering and other in house disciplines.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading the delivery of landscape architecture projects from concept through to completion
- Managing and coordinating project teams
- Acting as the primary day to day client contact
- Overseeing design quality, coordination and technical outputs
- Contributing to landscape and visual impact assessment work, including LVIA inputs where required
- Supporting and mentoring senior and junior colleagues
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Strong experience delivering landscape architecture projects in the UK
- Experience leading or contributing to LVIA and related landscape assessment work
- Confident leading projects, teams and client relationships
- Strong design, technical and coordination skills
