Position: Customer Service / Property Support Assistant – Student Accommodation

Location: Birmingham B19 3SH

Job Type: Temporary – 4 to 6 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week
Salary: £12.50 per hour

Overview

We are recruiting a customer-focused and organised Customer Service / Property Support Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a busy student accommodation property in Birmingham. This temporary opportunity will see you acting as a key on-site presence, helping to deliver a positive experience for residents, visitors and prospective customers while supporting the wider property team.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service, acting as a role model for excellent service delivery
  • Manage enquiries from customers and visitors via email, website, telephone and face to face, providing accurate advice and information
  • Assist with the set-up and delivery of resident events and activities
  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager and wider team
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve team objectives
  • Engage with residents, gather feedback and help shape services that enhance the customer and student experience
Skills & Experience
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging face to face, over the phone and via email
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, reliable and capable of working independently and within a small team
  • Previous experience within customer service, property, hospitality or student accommodation is desirable but not essential
