Customer Service Rep, Bilingual
General Overview
Situated at the Mailbox in Birmingham, Mitie requires the services of a receptionist on a part‑time basis to assist with front‑line services for a prestigious client. The successful candidate will work every Wednesday & Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, with additional overtime shifts available.
Duties & Responsibilities- Make a positive first impression at all times.
- Take ownership of the front‑of‑house area, offering an outstanding meet‑and‑greet service to all visitors, occupiers and clients.
- Assist customers and occupiers with queries in a knowledgeable, professional and charming manner.
- Answer all internal and external telephone calls in a timely, warm and friendly manner.
- Offer a personalised service, being proactive, flexible and adaptive, and using names when appropriate.
- Maintain a polished appearance in line with company policy.
- Sign in all visitors in accordance with security procedures and processes, providing directions and assistance where relevant.
- Be aware of the front‑of‑house area and report any maintenance or security issues promptly.
- Adhere to all QSHE procedures, reporting any risks, near misses, accidents or incidents to the relevant person.
- Consistently deliver on performance, maintaining high standards at all times.
- Announce all visitors in line with building procedures.
- Support accident reporting and management of the online safety system.
- Assist the management team with tracking site compliance and paperwork.
- Carry out administrative duties when required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Opportunity for overtime is available.
- Premium customer service experience essential.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills essential.
- Ability to work independently, remaining focused and motivated.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
