Overview

Digital Waffle is hiring a Social Media Executive / Content Creator to take real ownership of our social presence and content output. This is a hands on role for someone who is just as comfortable on camera as they are behind a laptop creating, editing and publishing content.

You will be responsible for driving our content across all social channels, helping shape how the Digital Waffle brand shows up online and how we engage our audience.

Role: Social Media Executive / Content Creator

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Location: Birmingham, hybrid working

• Creating engaging content across Linked In, Instagram, Tik Tok and other social channels
• Being confident on camera for short form video, brand content and social posts
• Designing and editing social posts, reels and videos using modern content tools
• Planning and scheduling content to support wider marketing and growth goals
• Developing ideas for campaigns, series and recurring content formats
• Tracking performance and refining content based on engagement and results
• Working closely with the wider team to support brand, marketing and recruitment activity
• Keeping up to date with trends, formats and platform changes

• Proven experience managing and creating content for social media channels
• Confidence filming yourself and others on camera
• Strong skills in content creation, video editing and basic design
• Understanding of what performs well across different social platforms
• Creative mindset with a proactive approach to generating ideas
• Ability to manage multiple pieces of content at pace
• Comfortable working in a fast growing, ambitious environment
