Team Overview

The Commercial department is central to ensuring the financial viability and contractual success of our projects. Responsible for cost management, procurement, valuations, and contract administration, the team works closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to monitor budgets, mitigate risk, and maximise value throughout the project lifecycle. Their expertise ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations — safeguarding both client satisfaction and company profitability.

Role Overview

We are hiring for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to specialise within the Decarbonisation sector. On our projects within the Decarbonisation sector, we assume the role of the Main Contractor, meaning we have control of all elements of the build; civils, construction, building fabric, solar, M&E etc.

Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm

Lead Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the commercial and financial management of projects, ensuring cost control, accurate valuations, and effective management of variations and subcontractor payments.
  • Works closely with contracts, estimating, pre‑construction, and project teams to fully understand scope, set package allowances, procure and manage subcontractors, and administer contracts.
  • Provides regular financial reporting, supports project managers with commercial advice, attends commercial meetings, and carries out site visits as required to monitor progress and performance.
