Project Quantity Surveyor (or strong assistant) Façade Remediation Scheme | Brighton (Adjacent to Station) | Site-Based

A well-established main contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor for a £20m façade remediation scheme in Brighton.

This is a two-year programme on a live residential remediation project.

The role reports into a Senior QS and sits within a structured commercial team - this is not a Senior QS position. They want a solid Project QS (or strong assistant) who can take ownership of packages and deliver properly.

Commercial management of a £20m façade remediation project

• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• CVRs, cost reporting and forecasting
• Variations and change control management
• Supporting the Senior QS and working closely with the site team
• Full package responsibility through to final account

This is hands‑on site delivery - not a head office support role.

Project QS (not Senior QS)

• Degree qualified (essential)
• Experience with a comparable main contractor (Tier 2 preferred)
• Façade remediation experience strongly preferred
• Able to work site‑based full time
• Living within 45 minutes of Brighton

A strong Assistant QS may be considered, but salary would reflect level.

Established contractor delivering complex refurbishment and remediation schemes across the South.

Structured commercial team with clear reporting lines.

Strong operational culture & long-term pipeline of work.

This would suit someone who wants to work on a defined, technically focused remediation scheme with proper structure above them - not a corporate high‑rise environment.
