Our client, a thriving and expanding construction consultancy, is seeking a talented and ambitious MRICS-qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Birmingham team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional ready to take on leadership responsibilities and build a long-term career with genuine progression into team leadership in the coming years.
In this role, you will confidently lead private sector projects, reporting directly to the Team Leader while playing a pivotal part in the team's success and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively network and drive business development to grow your contact base and client relationships.
* Deliver high-quality cost consultancy services to generate revenue and exceed client expectations.
* Meet and surpass agreed business targets in collaboration with your Line Manager.
* Contribute directly to team turnover, profitability, and overall commercial performance.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* MRICS qualification (Chartered status).
* At least 2–3 years' post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience working in Birmingham or the West Midlands, with strong local market knowledge and understanding.
* Solid track record of leading projects in the private sector.
* Excellent interpersonal and business development skills, with an established personal network.
Desirable
* Previous experience in a consultancy environment.
