Estimator Groundworks Portsmouth, Hampshire Salary up to £75,000  Car Allowance  25 Days Holiday  Pension Blaymires Recruitment is working with a specialist Civil Engineering contractor based in Portsmouth who is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. The company operates as both a principal and specialist contractor, delivering a wide range of Civil Engineering and Groundworks projects across the commercial and residential sectors, with project values typically up to £3 million.

Typical projects include:
Groundworks, Pile Foundations, Reinforced Concrete, Brick and Block Works, Diamond Drilling, Car Parks. Due to continued growth, the company is looking to appoint a skilled Estimator. Applications are welcomed from both Estimators and Estimator / Quantity Surveyors with a strong Groundworks or Civil Engineering background.

Key Responsibilities Producing and completing tenders, primarily within the residential sector Forecasting costs for plant, labour, and materials Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates Attending pre-tender and client meetings Supporting and mentoring junior team members Working closely with the Estimating Director Assisting with the development of new and existing client relationships Experience Required Minimum 5 years experience as a Groundworks Estimator within a contractor environment Strong background in pricing Groundworks or Civil Engineering projects Experience working on projects up to £5 million Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) Educated to HNC level or equivalent Strong IT and analytical skills On Offer Competitive salary up to £75,000 Car Allowance Pension Scheme 25 Days Holiday Professional and supportive working environment Ongoing training and development Genuine career progression opportunities Free parking For further information, please contact Steve at Blaymires Recruitment.
